Guiding Mountain Dragon & Lion Dance Association is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to sharing the cultural art and sport of Dragon & Lion Dancing. As an organization, the group is focused on providing a collaborative and welcoming space for members of the community to learn about and connect with the culture, beauty, and history of Dragon and Lion Dancing.

That’s how the name “Soul Food Band” was created.To Renew, Inspire and Strengthen our Mind, Body and Soul through music. “Don’t Be Eye Candy, Be Soul Food”. We may not all speak the same dialect on this earth but we ALL have one thing in common ……… Music! “The Universal Language.” Whether it be that Funky Groove or Angelic Harmonies. It collaborates with each and everyone of us Deep within our Soul. Once you’ve had a Taste of The “Soul Food Band” and their Uplifting Vibe on or off the stage you’ll want to come back for seconds.

Get ready for an unforgettable live music experience with Dotsero — Colorado’s own contemporary jazz powerhouse. With soaring sax lines, tight grooves, and the addition of rich, soulful vocals, this nationally recognized group delivers a big-stage sound and an electrifying party vibe wherever they perform.

iZCalli

Is a genre-bending rock band pushing the sonic envelope of conventional Latin sounds. Miguel Aviña (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Brenda Aviña (Bass) and Luiggy Ramírez (Drums) supported by a cast of some of Denver’s premier musicians, combine to create music for the relentless, the determined…the immigrant song. Inherently authentic and undeniably refreshing.

Thumpin’

Since their inception in 2011, Thumpin’ has become one of the most popular bands on the Denver music scene, drawing enthusiastic crowds and amassing a loyal following who love what this band does: providing its audiences with music that moves the body and soul, music with maximum groove. Thumpin’ combines two energetic lead vocalists with a tight rhythm and horn section, pristine vocal harmonies, and a repertoire of songs that spans five decades of funk, soul, and R&B: songs that are infrequently played by other acts yet are instantly recognizable and one hundred percent danceable.

Ron Ivory Motown Revue

One on One is one of the most authentic Motown-Classic Soul Tribute bands based in Colorado created by native Coloradan icon Ron Ivory. The rich harmonies and soulfully infused lead vocals from the front four vocalist (including a female) is sure to bring a spirited musical experience. The group is backed up by Ron’s four-piece rhythm section, “The MilesApart Band”. The young and old alike are captivated with the sweet harmonies, choreographed moves, wardrobe and their unique uncompromising arrangements. The group on occasion may encourage a few brave souls in the audience the opportunity to join the group on or in front of the stage to mimic their favorite female or male groups. So, sit back, sit up, sing along, get up and dance, pretend and/or be the ones to participate with the band.As it should always be…“It’s not just entertainment, it’s an experience.”

Ninety2K tributes the rock, pop, and alternative hits of the 90’s and 2000’s with dynamic precision, and electric energy. With a catalogue spanning from The Killers to The Backstreet Boys, From Green Day and Fallout Boy, to Britney Spears and Santana, there is fun for everyone. Just, never enough room on the dance floor.
